Music tuition for children who cannot afford to learn and practise playing a musical instrument. 10 children to be given an instrument to practice at home. Music tutor from Thames – weekly tutoring sessions after school. We have been studying the Wind Rush in Year 6. We were able to use the funding to get a Calypso band into the school to put on a performance for our children and then complete steel band workshops with 6 groups of 15 children over 2 days.
It was really fun. We got to listen to and learn to play music we have never heard or played before
