There will be a new school library to promote cultural, ethnic, diverse characters and populations. Children need to see themselves represented in texts. Texts will also be selected to demonstrate equality. Books will be selected for pupils of all ages and abilities. Authors will be promoted within the library settings and in class reading spaces alongside pupil recommendations.
