We bought a range of novels for classes to help us build on a book rich environment. Novels were used in class and also sent home during periods of lockdown. This improved literacy skills. Children are gaining confidence and building self-esteem in reading aloud.
The additional books have been thoroughly enjoyed by my class. Our children look forward to our book exchange and readily suggest books to their friends. We need to keep building on this and buy additional titles
