Residential trip for our older pupils to London to enable all our Year 6 pupils to experience London. This includes a theatre trip, visiting the Natural history Museum and the Science Museum, the Houses of Parliament and sites of London. Many of our pupils do not get these opportunities and the experience will help develop their cultural capital.
It made me feel more confident with visiting the city with my family
There’s so much to do there. I would like to have a job there when I leave school.
It was busier than I thought it would be. There were lots of people like I’ve never seen before
My favourite part was the theatre. It inspired us to put on our own production of Matilda and we’re less afraid of getting stage fright. There were really young children on the stage by themselves in front of a large audience. It made me think we could do that too.
The Natural History Museum was amazing. It made my jaw drop. The dinosaurs were huge and the bugs and lizards were interesting. I’d never seen things like that for real.
